GTA 5 and GTA Online PS5 and Xbox Series X/S New Features Revealed.

GTA 5 and GTA Online PS5 and Xbox Series X/S New Features Revealed.

For the first time ever, a standalone edition of Grand Theft Auto Online will be available separately from the main game when it launches on Tuesday, March 15 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

It was exciting to see Rockstar Games announce the start of development on GTAVI just a few weeks ago. In the meanwhile, it's giving us a better idea of what to expect from the reworked games and how players of GTA Online can move their characters.

GTAV will feature three different graphics modes: a 4K fidelity mode with ray tracing, an upscaled 4K (1080p on Series S) performance mode running at 60 frames per second (fps), and a "performance RT" mode on PS5 and Series X targeting 60 fps without removing ray tracing. All three graphics modes will be available on the PS5 and Series X consoles. There have been improvements to water reflections and traffic density as well as loading times, according to Rockstar. These are all expected new-gen console improvements. "Extremely detailed" explosion effects are only some of the new features of the game.

Using updated consoles, certain cars are able to reach higher top speeds because of their ability to feed in the world's info faster than previous consoles. The DualSense controller's haptics and customizable triggers will be used in the PS5 version of GTAV. Harmonics will be used to make the effects of weather, damage, road bumps and explosions more realistic.

Since GTA Online is separate from GTA V on Xbox and PlayStation, Rockstar has apparently made special effort to make onboarding new users faster than before. The new Career Builder feature offers you $4 million in-game cash to get you started. A "redesigned" introduction and tutorial are available for newcomers in the online mode. From the revamped main menu, you can also go straight into a number of different game types. Additionally, you'll have access to brand-new vehicles and a mode that lets you take costly vehicles for a spin for free.

The business aims to attract lapsed gamers to return with the ability to move their GTAV story path and GTA Online character to these new editions. Transferring characters from one game to another will not be possible for PC users. Players may now transition between PS4 and Xbox One regardless of whether they are using last-generation or current-generation consoles thanks to the company's new migration tool.

GTA Online currency may only be transferred between PS4s and PS5s or Xbox Ones and Series X and S consoles. If you've earned any in-game currency, you can use it on any platform.

GTA Online will be available for free to PS5 customers for the first three months after its release (so, three months from March 15th). After that window of time, or for Xbox users, Rockstar hasn't decided on pricing. It hasn't been revealed how much the new GTAV version will cost or if previous owners of the game will be allowed to upgrade to the new version .

Grand Theft Auto V is already in its ninth year of production and is making its platform debut on the so-called "Gen 9" systems. Grand Theft Auto V's PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles have been given a fresh coat of paint, which should breathe new life into the game and keep fans busy until we learn more about GTA 6.
